We are a group of 9.
Our purpose is to showcase original artwork, including oil, acrylic, watercolor and pastel painting, mixed media, hand made pottery, sculpture, wood-turned art, hand crafted jewelry, photography, and other media.
We also carry cards and other unique gift items such as handmade scarves, and journals.
In addition to monthly openings, Main Stope Gallery participates in the Butte Art Walk from May through September. With 1203 square feet of gallery space, Main Stope Gallery is the premier art gallery in Butte, Montana. We hope you will stop in on your next visit to Butte America.
Main Stope Gallery first opened in 1995 with a group of nine artists from Butte and surrounding southwest Montana. The gallery was originally located at 126 South Main in Butte. Two years later it moved to 45 W.Park St. Our new location as of May 2015 is 8 S. Montana St., the former home of the Silver Arrow Garage.
